Joseph Fusca

Joseph Fusca, age 81, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 30, 2021.  Born in Maierato, Italy and then a lifelong resident of Bethel Park, Joe owned and operated Fusca Construction and was a skilled craftsman in cement and stone work.  He later retired from the Jendoco Corporation. 

A true patriarch, Joe was the heart and soul of the family – his home serving as the central gathering place for all from near and far.  Nothing made him happier than having a home full of family and friends where he would share his stories and jokes along with homemade wine and sopressata. He shared his smile, laughter, warmth and naturally generous spirit with all that were lucky enough to know him.  He was passionate about his bountiful garden, especially his prized fig trees and grapevines,and loved nothing more than sharing his harvest with friends and family.  His pride and overwhelming love for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as extended family and friends was unmatched.  Joe was a bright light and source of joy in all of our lives, he truly was one of a kind.  Hewill be greatly missed.

Joe was the beloved and dedicated husband of 55 years to Carmela (Lombardo) Fusca; loving father of Rose (Frank) Farina; Domenic (Megan Misgalla) Fusca; Tina (Freddy) Moreno and Melissa (Daniel) Johnsen; proud grandfather of John (Samantha) Farina, Joe (Claire) Farina, Lauryn and Dylan Fusca, Alessia, Anthony and Joey Moreno, Joey and Daniela Johnsen; great-grandfather of Nico Farina; Donato and Damian Farina; brother of Antonino (Maria Concetta) Fusca and the late Pasquale (Elisabetta) Fusca and the late Elisabetta (Rocco) Lagrotteria.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Friends and family will be received Monday, January 3, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 at PAUL HENNEY CREMATION AND TRIBUTES, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park.  The family requests all guests wear a mask.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 10AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Valentine Church, Bethel Park.
