Of Bethel Park, age 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Voll) Riley; loving wife of 62 years to the late Edward Emmett, loving mother of Dan (Janet) Emmett and Ed (Karen) Emmett; cherished grandmother of Kevin (Cindy) Emmett and Katie Emmett, Kelly (Vincent) Camps, Patrick (Emily) Emmett, and Kasey Emmett; great-grandmother of Eddie Emmett; sister of Don (late Agnes) Riley, the late Eileen (late Jim) Rush, and the late Dorothy (late Harry) Kinter; sister-in-law of Bob (Pat) Emmett, the late Joe (late Loretta) Emmett and the late Nancy (late James) Gregg. June graduated from Indiana High School in Indiana PA. She earned a Chemistry degree from Seton Hill University. June worked thirty years as an Engineering Planner with Bell Telephone. She spent her last thirty-one years in retirement with her husband Ed, in Surfside Beach, SC. They enjoyed going to the beach with friends and family. June enjoyed following the stock market as well as the authentic seafood restaurants of Murrell’s Inlet and Myrtle Beach SC. She was an avid Clemson and Pitt football fan and was an active member of St. Michael’s Parish in Garden City, SC. The family would like to thank the staff of the Sheridan of Bethel Park Assisted Living Center where she resided the last 2 years. In her memory donations can be made to Our Lady of Hope Parish, 7003 Baptist Rd., Bethel Park, PA 15102. A memorial mass for June & Ed Emmett will be celebrated on June 19th (11:00 am) at St. Germaine Church of Our Lady of the Hope Parish.
