Kathleen Marie (Kintz)
Of South Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2021. Beloved wife of 53 years to Phillip France; loving mother of Christine Schonbachler (France) and Jennifer (Tom) Coates; proud grandmother of Tyler Schonbachler, Zachary Schonbachler, Caden Coates and Katelyn Coates; sister of Joan Kessler, Rita (James) Zumbo and Rosemary (Walter) Jennings; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Agnes Kintz, her brothers John and Regis Kintz and her sister, Anna Mary Taylor. Kathleen graduated from St. Xavier Academy and Villa Maria College with a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry. Kathy was very proud to be a Registered Medical Technologist, spending 20 years with the Veteran’s Administration. She was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) for 40 years. She had a love for wildlife and nature, often giving to many wildlife charities and being a member of the Audubon Society. Kathy was a wonderfully loving wife, mom and grandma and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd. Bethel Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, 10:30 AM at St. Louise de Marillac Church, 320 McMurray Rd; Pittsburgh, PA 15241. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Mausoleum Chapel, 360 Fraser Purchase Rd. Latrobe, PA 15650 at approximately 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Audubon Society, Arbor Day Foundation or National Wildlife Federation
