Lois F. Fox (Brandt)
November 15, 1933 – December 28, 2023
Age 90; with very heavy hearts, the family mourns the death of Lois Fox, a longtime resident of South Park Twp. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28, 2023.
Cherished mother of Karen (John) Hogya, Donald (Lorraine) Fox, and Jeffrey (Gina) Fox. Grammy of Matt (Cailin) Hogya, Carly (Cody) Hogya, Tyler (Jessica) Hogya, Holli (Jon) Noce, Delaney and Jayden Fox, and the late Cody and Kelsey Fox. Great-mother of Levi, Bailey, Owen and John. Grammy Belle to Sonny and Dog-mom of Toby, her loyal and faithful companion.
She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Lois was deeply dedicated to her family and always available to offer help and support in any way possible. She enjoyed traveling, her swimming pool, planting flowers and shopping. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She loved decorating, giving gifts, holiday lights, and spending time with loved ones.
She cherished her grandchildren and never missed a football game, dance recital, or any other special event in their lives. If you had the privilege of knowing Lois, you will fondly remember her warm smile, wonderful sense of humor, and sweet demeanor. She always saw the best in everyone and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George “Pap” and Tabitha Brandt, her beloved sister Audrey Fuchs, and brothers, Edward, George ”Bud”, Bill, Harry and Norman.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Artis Senior Care Living for the kindness and care they provided for the past year.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 1st from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Tuesday, January 2nd from 10 AM – 11 AM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where funeral services will held Tuesday, January 2nd at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
