Tarbert (Brugos)
Lois Ann
Age 70, of Bethel Park, previously of Munhall and South Park, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, with her husband and family by her side on August 15, 2021. Lois was the daughter of the late John and Ann Kasnik Brugos; the beloved wife and best friend of 47+ years to Charles Tarbert; loving mother of Guy (Caity) and Adam (deceased) (Rebekah), both of Peters Township; cherished grandmother of Elijah, Cameron, Kaylee, Oaklee, Audra and Celina; sister of John Brugos of Ft. Lauderdale and Karen (Louis) Pane of Bethel Park. She graduated from Boyle High School in Homestead in 1969, and then went on to earn a B.S. with a major in Secretarial at Geneva College in Beaver Falls in 1973. That is where she met her future husband. Lois was a long-time member of Peters Creek Baptist Church in South Park. She was a secretary and held many administrative jobs at IBM in Pittsburgh for 21+ years, after which was the administrator in the tax and accounting office of George R. Belles in Upper St. Clair for 21+ years. Her last full-time “job”, although she would never call it a “job”, was spending time with and watching her grandchildren when needed. She loved them with all of her heart. Lois was a voracious reader of fiction, loved doing challenging crossword puzzles, looked forward to beach vacations and enjoyed interacting with her various Facebook friends. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until the time of service, 11 am at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd. Bethel Park, PA 15102. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery in Washington, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Peters Creek Baptist Church or Washington City Mission.
