Of Bethel Park; age 96; passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2023; husband of the late Doris Bier and the late Barbara Bier; loving father of Nancy(George) Rudge, Sandra(Richard) Lancia, Steven(Cindy) Bier and the late Dennis Bier; grandfather of Heidi(Robert) Metz, Wendy(Brian) Pezel, David(Kristen) Beers, Rebecca(Brandon) Gourley, Daniel Deeter, Ross Lancia and Michelle(Craig) Lewin; brother of Charlotte(the late Gerald) Tomaszewski, the late Martha(Joseph) Micklos and the late Lillian(Eldridge) Musolino; also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Lou was an Army Veteran during WWII and The Korean War serving in the 51st Signal Battalion. He retired as a Piping Designer, he was an avid gardener, a lifelong Model Railroad enthusiast and stamp collector.
Family and friends will be received from 10 AM -12 PM on Friday, March 17th at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where the funeral service will be held Friday, March 17th at 12 PM.
