Marian Louise (Wright) Rhodes

Of Bethel Park; loving mother of Jacques W. and Cheryl Lynne, wife of the late Jacques P.; passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the age of 97. Marian was born in 1926 to Grace & Willard Wright of Franklin Park. Growing up during the Great Depression she learned the value of faith, hard work, and good living. She was faithful and active in Bethel Presbyterian Church. She treasured her church friends and activities. Marian worked at Pennsylvania Transformer Company during WWII where she met her husband, Jack. She was active in Boy and Girl Scouts, garden club, bridge club and golf. She enjoyed dancing, music, sewing, and sitting on the porch looking at her garden. She was predeceased by her siblings; Nancy Karaffa, Gloria Meinert and Warren Wright, her lifelong friend; Sooz and her beloved cousin; Denny Hopf. Marian always loved animals and was heartbroken when her cat Chloe died earlier this year. May God wrap Marian in his arms.  Family and friends will be received Sunday 2-4PM and Monday 10 AM-12 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a funeral service will be held Monday at 12 PM.  Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to an animal shelter.
