Marian “Mem” Volpatti
Marian “Mem” (Hahne) Volpatti, of Bethel Park, was received by her Lord on June16th, 2024, two months before her 95th birthday.
Born on August 17, 1929, Marian was a daughter to the late Ronald and Katherine (Haas) Hahne.
Mem was a devoted wife for 52 years to her husband, Joseph “Big Joe”, until his passing on August 4, 2002 and loving mother to Daniel (Kris), Joseph (Joyce), Ronald (Judy), Jeffry (Cindy), and Timothy (Trish) Volpatti, all who survive. She was also a loving grandmother to eleven grandchildren, and great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren.
Mem gathered her quickly growing family together every other Saturday where she treated 30+ big appetites to the best ever home cooked dinners. During the summer months, she hosted the family crew at Conneaut Lake where she enjoyed caring for and entertaining her grandchildren.
Mem was a faith mentor throughout her life and a pillar member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Bethel Park where she taught Sunday School and was active in mission and charity work.
A fun-loving card club kept Mem in touch with her close high school friends for many decades.
Preceding her in death were her sisters, Arlene MacDonald and Janet Jamison, as well as her brothers Alan and Charles Hahne.
Family and friends will gather at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, Bethel Park, on Thursday, June 20th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
