Mary C. (Ackerman) Fallon

Of South Park; formerly of Squirrel Hill; age 90; peacefully passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, surrounded by her family.  Beloved wife of 66 years to James P. Fallon; loving mother of Dr. Ann Fallon(David Atencio), James Fallon(Suzanne), Maureen Zeher and Christine McKenna(David); sister of John Ackerman; grandmother of Laura, Shannon, Patrick, Caitlin, Christina, Ryan, Meagan, Phillip, Alexander and Ashton; great grandmother of Makayla, Nathaniel, Mateo, Blake and Mason.  Mary was a second grader teacher, reading specialist and head of the lower school at St. Edmund’s Academy.  She loved to take walks on the beach and collect sand dollars.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, 10 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
