Mary P. (Dowd) Miller

Of Bethel Park; age 75; passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2026; She married the love her life, the late William S. Miller a bond marked by love, laughter and shared memories; doting mother of Kimberly(Greg) Plachecki and the late Melissa and Amanda Miller; loving aunt of Justin(Allison) Atkinson; cherished grandmother of Kennedy and Melissa;  sister of Ellen Naugle, Ann Obeldobel, Charolette Dowd and Karen Herald; also survived by many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her parents; Andrew and Ellen Dowd; her sisters; Margaret Dowd and Theresa Dowd; her brothers, Andrew, John, James, Richard “Dickie” Dowd.  Mary grew up on Mt. Washington and attended St. Mary of the Mount Church.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan and  enjoyed spending time with her family especially at Woodloch.  Most of all she adored her granddaughters, they were the “light of her life”.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 27th, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.  Mass of Catholic burial will be offered Saturday, March 28th, 10 AM at St. Valentine Church, Bethel Park. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  Donations in her memory can be made to American SIDS Institute, www.sids.org
