Mary Elizabeth Ratay

Mary Elizabeth (Servetnick) Ratay, 82, passed away on February 24, 2024, peacefully at home.

She was born on January 3, 1942, to the late Michael and Anne (Koval) Servetnick.

Mary is survived by her children and stepchildren; Laura (Bob McClure) Russell, Tracy (Ed) Kelley, Mary “Fran” Hays, Nikki Bedillion, Jim “Jimbo” (Cathy) Ratay, Chrissy (Donnie) Best, and Denise (Michael) Lopez. A special great-nephew, Scott (Karen) Hibbard; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a loyal friend Rick Crawford.

She is preceded in death by her soulmate, who passed away in 1999, Andrew J. “Jim” Ratay. As well as three siblings; Dorothy, Russell, and Michael; and her Aunt Mary “Mimi”.

Mary retired from Peters Township School District Transportation, where she worked as a secretary.

Family and friends will gather at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, Bethel Park, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 4:00-8:00pm. A Blessing Service will be offered on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
