MaryAnn Tischler

MaryAnn Tischler, 100, born April 15, 1923, of Bethel Park, PA,  passed away peacefully on July 24, 2023. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Leonard E. Tischler; and six sisters; and four brothers. MaryAnn was a well-known hairstylist and owner of Tish Tish Coiffures in Tischler Town Centre in Bethel Park for many years. The Tischlers were well known for their many services to the community. Survived by her children, Terry (Kathleen) and Heidi Kurtzke (Bob). Also survived by five grandchildren, Kelsey, Ryan, Meghan, Tischler (Tish), and Alex; as well as many nieces, and nephews that adored her. Mary Ann loved working, entertaining, dancing, singing, and traveling and became a fabulous artist after retiring from the hair business. She will be greatly missed by many and she will be forever remembered and loved. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
