Mary Lou Smith 

April 6, 1931 – July 22, 2022 

Mary Lou Smith, age 91, of Bethel Park, passed surrounded by family on July 22, 2022. Predeceased by her beloved husband, James E. Smith Jr. and her oldest son James “Bubba” Smith III; beloved mother of William “Stoney” Smith (Lucy), Eileen Schrecengost (and the late Shrek), Leslie Phillips (George), Thomas “Stem” Smith (Rachelle), and Daniel “Twig” Smith (Dawn); loving Gram of ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  

Friends and family will be welcomed Sunday, July 24, 2022, from 6-8pm and Monday, July 25, 2022, 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Paul Henney Cremation and Funeral Tributes 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, July 26 at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Lou’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or American Heart Association.
