Michael F Grattan

Of South Park; age 79; passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021; beloved husband of Maryanne Wyse; brother of Mary Ann Henry; dear cousin to many and friends to many more. Michael was proud to serve our nation in the Air Force from 1959 – 1964. He was a faithful employee of Duquesne Light.  He was very devoted to St. Francis of Assisi and had great compassion for animals. His best times were spent riding his horse, Dakota on the trails of South Park.   The family is extremely grateful for compassionate care for 3 years at Arden Courts and the gentle care of Heartland Hospice. Special gratitude to Kristin, Terrie, Kim, Leah and Jackie and the caring staff of Arden Courts. Gifts in his memory can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 2835 E. Carson St. Ste 200, Pgh., PA 15203. Per family’s wishes there will be no viewing and private interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in Mike’s Memory on Friday, December 3, 2021, 10 AM at St. John XXIII Parish/St. Francis of Assisi Worship Site, Finleyville.  Bereavement luncheon will follow in Finley Hall.
