Michael W Sutton

Michael William Sutton was a retired Sergeant First Class with the United States Army and beloved husband of the late Eileen C. Sutton (O’Farrell).  Michael passed away at the age of 66 on January 27, 2025, in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. 

Michael proudly served his country for 21 years in the United States Army, dedicating his career to protecting and serving others. In retirement, he cherished spending time with his family, creating lasting memories with those closest to him.

Michael is survived by his cherished daughters Jessica (Daniel) Cole and Ashley (Travis) Zimmerman.  His siblings Karen (John) Chapman, Thomas (Pat) Sutton, Mary (John) Mikosky, David Liller and Patrick (Courtney) Liller. His beloved grandchildren Ares, Silas and Aurora Cole.  Brother-in-law of Michael, David, Kathy, Connie, Brian (Andrea) O’Farrell and Nancy (Vince) Smith, also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 3rd from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 4th at 11 AM. Burial will follow at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Military Honors.

Michael’s dedication to his country and love for his family will forever be remembered by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
