Nancy Ann Goudy

Nancy Ann Powlus Goudy of Bethel Park, age 90, passed away March 4, 2024 at her home.  She was the beloved wife for 62 years to the late Jack Goudy and excellent mother to Susan Shikany, Joyce (James) Guenther, Claire (Robert) Mish, Nancy (David) Graeser and Mary (Peter) Bonneau.  She was the grandmother to Christine and Catherine Guenther, Michael (Alison) Mish, Matthew (Jozie) Mish, Colleen (Caleb) Reihner, Diane (Tabitha) Graeser, Danielle (DJ) Macek, Cory (Kalene) Bonneau and Lindsey (Eric) Frank and great grandmother to Emily, Ethan, Madalyn and Owen Mish, and Wyatt and Weston Macek as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her Japanese friends Eiko, Tom and Koh Matsumoto.  Special thanks to Barb Costello for her many kindnesses.  Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Viola Powlus, her sister and brother-in-law Evelyn (Robert) Maloney, her son in law Joseph Shikany, and grandson Steve Hess.  She was born and raised in Philadelphia and if you were, too, she probably knew you. Whenever she traveled anywhere in the world, she met someone from her hometown. She was a life member of the exclusive Comets sorority for over 70 years.  Nancy was a longtime member of the Three Rivers Quilting Guild.  Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where funeral services will be held Friday at 8 PM.  Burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
