Patricia E. (Wallace) Mathews

Patricia E. (Wallace) Mathews, 97, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Beloved wife of 68 years to Frank W. Mathews until his passing in 2015. Loving mom to Susan (Bill) Andrews, Raymond (Suzanne) Mathews, Janet Mathews, Roberta (Greg) Sharko, and Jerry (Becky) Mathews. Daughter of the late Michael "Matt" and Margaret Wallace; sister of Jean Sekelick, Joan Lake, Matt Wallace and the late Marge O'Connor and Jerry Wallace. Pat is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Catholic by faith, Pat was a devout member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Library and a member of the Christian Mothers and Library Golden Agers. Pat was a gifted artist and officer of the Bethel Artists Guild. Special thanks to all her caregivers; Alice Zipper, Mary Jo Levine, Roni, and the wonderful staff at Juniper Village of Monroeville and Gallagher Hospice for their kindness, love, and compassion.  A visitation will be held at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park, PA, on Thursday, April 3,2025, from 4pm-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joan of Arc, 6470 Library Road, South Park, PA, 15129, on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 9 am.  Interment will follow with her late husband in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her honor to Clear Thoughts Foundation, 3000 Village Run Road, #103, Wexford, PA 15090.
