Paul A. Doucette, 93, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Paul was born on July 9, 1931, in Wilmington, Massachusetts, to the late Eugene and Fedora Doucette.
He was the loving husband for 72 years to Julianne P. (Phillips) Doucette, until her passing on June 21, 2023.
He is survived by his children, Paul A. (the late Nancy) Doucette, Jr., Denise P. (Bob) Bailey, Deborah S. Doucette, Annette L. Doucette, and James F. (Royce) Doucette; devoted grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; as well as 1 great-great grandchild. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Paul was a proud United States Navy Veteran and served during the Korean War.
He worked for General Electric in Erie, Pennsylvania, as a Gear Specialist in the locomotive production tool & dye room. He retired after 32 dedicated years.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Julianne; two sons, Steven M. Doucette and Warren E. Doucette; and a daughter, Kathleen P. Frantz.
Private inurnment will be held later in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
