Paul Harvey Page
Age 91, of Upper St. Clair, PA, passed away on May 24, 2020 at Concordia/South Hills. He was a tender, kind, and gentle person with a dry wit and unlimited sense of humor - loved by all who knew him. Born on September 19, 1928 in Turtle Creek, PA to the late John Russell and Lillian (McBriar) Page. Paul was the beloved husband of Nancy (Johnson) Page for 58 years; the loving father Heather A. Page (Todd McMullen), Thomas A. (Kristin), and David L. (Kerrin); cherished grandfather of Sarah A., Matthew J., Cullen D., and Lillian G.; brother of the late Russell (Amanda) Page and late James (Mildred) Page; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A 1950 graduate of the University of Alabama and member of Delta Chi Fraternity. Unable to participate in active military service, he served as a civilian with the US Air Force, Division of Aeronautical Charts and Maps in Washington, DC and St. Louis, MO. He worked for ALCOA in Albany, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Chimayo, NM and Davenport, IA and retired after 30 years. Shortly there after he began a second 25-year career as a real estate agent in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
Paul had a deep faith in God and was a devoted member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, where he served as its Clerk of Session. He was also a Deacon, Elder, and taught Sunday school. He loved working with students in the Upper St. Clair High School theater department where he served as Art Director of musicals (23 years) and Director of numerous fall plays. He also enjoyed family, friends, and travel and was a master furniture refinisher.
He will be interred at the Westminster Presbyterian Church columbarium. A memorial service to be held at later date.
