Paul T. Richmond, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30th. He spent time living near Albany, NY, Bethel Park, PA, Baton Rouge, LA and most recently Upper St. Clair, PA. Paul was born, August 19, 1949 in Binghamton, NY and grew up in the Adirondack Mountains where he loved to return and bring his family for many years. He graduated from Northville High School in 1967 as valedictorian. He excelled in mathematics and used this skill to become an actuary. He enjoyed his many years in this field, especially most recently as an Actuarial Auditor for the state of Louisiana. He joins his brother, Ray Richmond and sister, Cheryl Sickler, both whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy, of 47 years; children, Tim (Heather) Richmond, Melanie (Brian) Longacre, Dan (Lisa) Richmond and Andy (Angie) Richmond; 11 grandchildren; and his sister, Ruth Bills. Paul was an avid reader and enjoyed researching genealogy. He spent two years volunteering as an advocate for foster children. He often had a Diet Coke or bowl of cereal nearby. He was passionate about his love for Jesus and loved worshiping through singing and listening to southern gospel music. He always enjoyed having his grandchildren and children visit him. Family and friends will be received Monday 5-8 PM & Tuesday 10- 11am at The South Hill Church of the Nazarene, 5601 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a Celebration of His Life will be held Tuesday, 11 AM.
