Richard Michael Ryabik
Age 93 of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Monday, April 24, 2023. Devoted husband of the late Agnes T. Ryabik and beloved father of Sue (Timothy) Tremont, Karen (John) Onofrio, Richard A. Ryabik and Mary Beth Ryabik; five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Agnes and his brother, Raymond. Richard was born in Pittsburgh, and as a youth was National Marble Champion in 1943. After serving in the Navy, he attended the University of Pittsburgh where he was MVP on the golf team, graduating with a degree in civil engineering. His passion for building bridges and structures took him across the country and extended into his later years when he worked on the steel support structure for the PPG Arena, and the J.R. Taylor Memorial Bridge on the Montour Trail. He will be remembered as a very loving, kind, and caring person who will be greatly missed by family and friends. Services are private.
