Robert J. “Bob”

Of Hazelwood; age 68; passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2020; husband of Margaret Poland; loving father of Amy(Richard) Bane-Bofo, Bobbi – Jo(Dan) Dasynich, Ginger Bane, Sean Bane and the late James Bane; grandfather of Justin Korbelic, Sarah Bane, Sean Bane, Jr, Dylan Bofo, Eli Bofo and Josiah Bane; brother of Regis Bane, Eddie Bane, the late Verna Gorsin and Sissy Magyar.

Bob was a Purple Heart recipient from his service as an Army Ranger during the Vietnam War. He was an avid sports lover and he always had the quick comeback just to be a jag off.   FOLLOW THE QUEEN!

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 2800 Old Elizabeth Rd., West Mifflin, PA 15122

We wanted to provide some information about the Celebration of life service. Due to the current state of COVID-19 , we are on unsure and uncharted territory. Things are changing daily to help keep us all healthy and safe, we will do the same. We are working on a wonderful celebration that will take place in the near future.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
