Robert E. Scanlon

Robert "Bob" Scanlon passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 70, in his home in Bethel Park, PA surrounded by his family. His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with strength. Son of the late George and Ruth Scanlon; loving husband of Nancy (Long) Scanlon; cherished dad of Erin (Adam) Bertram; brother of Jim (Sharon) Scanlon, Linda Scanlon, Debbie Scanlon, and Eric Scanlon; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bob was a very devoted, loyal, loving and selfless person who will be missed whole heartedly by everyone who knew him. He was a passionate man about family and friends as well as many hobbies including but not limited to camping, the great outdoors, and a lover of nature and animals.
