Rosa Mary (DeMarco) Bombara
Age 98, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023, surrounded by her four children, who loved her wholeheartedly, Gloria Bombara-Laux (Robert), Lawrence Bombara, Bernard (Elizabeth) Bombara, Joanne Sikora (Doug). She was born in Campolieto, Campobasso, on October 14, 1925. Daughter of the late Pasqualina and Angelo DeMarco. Wife of the late Felix Joseph Bombara. Grandmother of Allison (Robert) Sloan, Valerie (Ryan) Fleischer, Stephanie Laux (August DiGiacobbie), Natalie Laux, Philip Bombara, Jonathan Bombara, Nicholas (Tanisha) Sikora, Brendan Sikora and Matthew (Dana) Sikora. Great grandmother of Evelyn, Calvin, Denali, and Beau. Rosa was proud of her Italian Heritage. She was a skilled Italian cook, who was famous for her pizza, bread, and spaghetti, which she made every Sunday for her entire family. She was a very social, talkative person, who enjoyed meeting people, walking, and attending mass regularly. She was a very special grandmother, who took great pride and joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an extremely positive and religious individual who exemplified a zest for life. She will be dearly missed by all. The family would like to thank Paramount Assisted Living, Bethel Park for the love and care given to their mother throughout the past eight years. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 6-8 PM and Friday, December15, 2023 from 3-7 PM at Paul Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, December 16, 2023, 10 AM at St. Germaine Roman Catholic Church, Bethel Park. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
