Shawn B. Tokar

Shawn B. Tokar, 55, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

He was born on August 13, 1970, in Pittsburgh.

Shawn was the beloved fiancé for 20 years to Vicki Bittinger; and devoted father to Kayla (Kyle) Tokar, Khalia Batie, Khyra Batie, Logan Tokar, the late Taylor Tokar, Piper Tokar, and Jackson Tokar. Each of them carries forward his memory and the values he instilled.

He is also survived by his loving mother; sisters, Cheryl (Richard) Diss and Nicole (Carl) Traud; and several nieces and nephews.

Shawn is preceded in death by his father. 

Shawn’s legacy lives on in the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
