Sylvia E Goodfellow

Sylvia E. Goodfellow, 88, of Bethel Park, formerly of Braddock, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

She was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Orsulak Pancurak. She was the wife of the late Robert Goodfellow, who passed away on November 21, 1974; and the loving mother of Denise (Vince) Galloni and Donna Goodfellow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Braddock High School and spent most of her life in Swissvale working at Union Switch and Signal, then later at UPMC, before moving to Bethel Park.

She was a long-time member of Word of God Parish in Swissvale.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and devoted her life to her daughters.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her siblings, Russell (Betty) Pancurak, Fay Pancurak, Andrew (surviving, Jeanette) Pancurak, and Mary Alice (Mickey) Moore.

Family and Friends will gather at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park, on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at St. Valentine – Our Lady of Hope Parish, at 11:30 am.

Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
