Tammy (Crowe) Wehner, Of Bethel Park: beloved wife of forty‑two years to Dr. James Wehner and devoted mother of Luke and Joseph, went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 22, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Crowe and Helen Phillips Rogers, and by her siblings Kerry, Randy, Tracey, Julie, and Nicole, all of South Carolina.
Tammy was a native of South Carolina, a place that shaped her warmth, kindness, and unmistakable southern charm. She met her husband, Jim, while he was attending Chiropractic College there. After they married, she moved with him to the Pittsburgh area, where they built a life together grounded in love, faith, and family.
Tammy played an essential role in helping her husband establish his chiropractic practice in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. While raising their two sons, she was a devoted and involved mother, always present for their activities and milestones. After her children were grown, Tammy returned to the chiropractic office, where she quickly became a beloved presence. Patients were drawn to her gentle spirit, her caring heart, and her southern accent and charm that made everyone feel welcome. Many who came as patients left as friends.
She was also blessed with deep and lasting friendships. Tammy was considered a “sister” to Jan, Judy, Lynn, and Natalie, and her lifelong childhood friend Michelle in South Carolina.
Tammy was a strong woman of faith, a faith that sustained her throughout her long and courageous battle with cancer. Through every challenge, she remained loving, gracious, and steadfast in her trust in God. She now rests peacefully in His presence.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where funeral services will be held Friday, March 27th at 11 AM, officiated by Reverend Ron Weryha of Faith Lutheran Church, Upper St. Clair.
