Thelma "Jean" James

Of Venetia; formerly of Bethel Park; age 92; passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022; wife of the late George F. James; loving mother of Valene(James) Scalise, Jeffrey(Julie) James and Brad(Victoria) James; grandmother of Heather(Chris) Hoffman, James(Katie) Scalise, Jessica(Christian) Necheff, Maura James, Ross James and Lauren James; great grandmother of Olivia and Christopher Hoffman, Hazel and Easton Necheff, Hannah and Madison Scalise; preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Felix; also survived by Chuck’s wife, Mary and children. Jean was a graduate of Bowling Green University where she met her husband, George and they married June 13, 1951. She enjoyed golf, bowling, garden club and was a lover of animals.   Her primary focus was her family.  She worked as a teacher,  and a realtor in  her later years.  A private family service and burial.  A memorial service at John McMillian will take place at a later date.   Donations in her memory can be made to John McMillian Presbyterian Church, 875 Clifton Rd. Bethel Park, PA 15102.
