Theresa (Dudiak) Martin, of Bethel Park passed away peacefully Sunday, February 18, 2024. She was 87. Born on August 27, 1936, Theresa was the twelfth of thirteen children born to the late Theodora and Michael Dudiak on the South Side of Pittsburgh where she learned at an early age the importance of faith, family and the value of hard work.

On May 24th, 1958, Theresa married the love of her life, Charles Martin of the North Side. They shared 57 years of marriage and enjoyed raising their seven children Charles R., Donna Bassi (Neil), Mark J. (Beth), Patty Horgan (Sean deceased) Thomas E. (Cathy), Nancy Joyce (Tim), and James R. (Krystyna). Grandmother of Renee Cooper (Richie), William (Alex), Michelle (Ricardo), Danielle Heaney (Michael), Michael, Ryan Bassi (Vanessa), Amy Bassi, Heather, Nicole Gauger (Kyle), Jason Horgan, Tyler Horgan (Alyssa), Dan Horgan, Connor Joyce, Courtney Sukitch (Kenny), and Nicole Joyce. Great-grandmother of Leopold, Brody Bassi, Elizabeth Rose, Oliver Gauger, Madeline May Horgan, and Henry Heaney. She was the sister of Olga Bleech and Ann Lucas and the late Walter Dudiak, Mary Kuhar, Peter Dudiak, Joseph Dudiak, Eugenia DeCarlo, Stephanie Colligan, Rosella Kearns, Nick Dudiak, and John Dudiak.

Theresa was a 1955 graduate of South Side High School. She was a charter member of St. Valentine Catholic Church and was an active member of Christian Mothers Association for several years. Theresa was an avid tennis player and golfer. She was a member of Nemacolin and Valley Brook Country Clubs where she had the distinction of having a hole in one at each club.

Family and friends are welcome Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 2-4 pm and 6-8pm at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, Bethel Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10 am at St Valentine Catholic Church - Our Lady of Hope Parish.

Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
