Of Bethel Park; age 97; passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, October 30, 2020; beloved husband of the late Dorothy S. Matthews; loving father of Janice Lynn(Mark) Rendine and Cheri(Ron) Clark; cherished  grandfather of Douglas(Priscilla) Clark, Darcee(Justin) Tague, Daniel Clark, Christy(Scott) Pisula and Greg(Nicole) Rendine; great grandfather of Michael & Matthew Pisula, Amelia & Ella Rendine and Dalila & Lucia Clark; preceded in death by his sibling; William, James, Sidney and Mildred.  Tom graduated from Westinghouse High School and attended Texas A&M. He served in the Marines during WWII from 1942 – 1946.  He retired in 1985 from the National Cash Register Company after a long and successful career. Tom was Mr. Fix it and used his talents to help numerous family, friends and neighbors over the years. In retirement he volunteered his talents at the Bower Hill Braille Association repairing their Braille machinery.  After his wife passed away at an early age from Colon Cancer, he was a participant in Colon Research studies at the Hillman Cancer Center. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed the great outdoors.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where funeral services will be held Monday, 12:30.  Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park with military honors.  Donations in his memory can be made to Bethel Park Public Library.
