Thomas P.

Age 81, of Bethel Park, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from lung cancer. Beloved husband for 41 years of Barbara(Skidmore) McGrath. Tom is survived by his sisters; Peg Schohn and Joan”Dolly” Smith; and brothers; Frank and Jim(Shirley) McGrath. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Kiefer and his brother, Paul “Joe” McGrath. He is also survived by many loving family members and longtime friends. He served in the Army during Vietnam War.  Tom worked at the Post Gazette for over 40 years and was a member of Mailers Local #22.  Family and friends are welcomed from 10 AM – 12 PM on Wednesday, May 17th at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a blessing service will begin at 12 PM on Wednesday, May 17th.  The burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations in Tom’s memory can be made to American Diabetes Assoc. of Western PA, 112 Washington Pike, Pgh., PA 15219, www.diabetes.org.
