Victor A. Battiste

Victor A. Battiste, 83, of Bethel Park, passed away on August 22, 2026.

He was born in Wilkinsburg, December 20, 1942, a son of the late Victor Battiste and Helen A. Fabel Battiste.

Victor was a 1971 graduate of Point Park University. He went on to become a wireman and turret lathe operator for Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Westinghouse Airbrake Company. Later, he worked for National Draeger as an electronics assembler from 1990 to 1997.

He enjoyed collecting model trains and was a true outdoorsman. He spent much of his free time fishing and hunting.

On September 18, 1965, he married his beloved wife, Patricia Cotter Battiste, who survives. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage together before his passing.

Also surviving are two sons, Marc Battiste and David (Julie) Battiste; five grandchildren, Ava Battiste, Tyler Battiste, Morgan Battiste, Nolan Battiste, Ella Battiste; and one sister, Donna (Brad) Lawrence.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are invited to Paul Henney Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park, on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10 AM in St. Germaine Church, 7003 Baptist Rd., Bethel Park. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
