Virginia “Karen” (Hostetler) Dougherty
Of Upper St. Clair; age 78; passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026; she was born on September 6, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA , she was the daughter of the late Grant and Ginny (Rohrkast) Hostetler; loving and devoted wife of 53 years to Art Dougherty; beloved mother of Kelly(Marty) Zigmond and Scott Dougherty; sister of Linda(Rick) Patterson and Donna(Russ) Achilles; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Karen worked in her early days at European Health Spa, as a Fitness Trainer, but she devoted most of her time as a wonderful and devoted homemaker to her husband and children; one of her favorite meals was Lasagna. She was a member of the 4H and Shriners. Karen enjoyed traveling especially with her family to Hawaii, Niagara Falls, Outer Banks, NC and taking 5 cruises. She enjoyed the oldies music of the 60's. Most of all the Pittsburgh Belars, and most of all Paul anka, her favorite song way "Puppy Love", we stayed overnight at Mountainair Racetrace and Casion many times to watch him preform his wonderful shows. She will be missed by all who knew her. Family and friends will be received Monday, January 12 from 12-2where a memorial service will start at 2PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.
