Age 97, of Bethel Park; passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. She was daughter of the late Floyd and Mabel Loll. Beloved wife of the late Charles J. Griesbaum. Loving mother to Janet(Chris) Burke and Thomas(Marsha) Griesbaum. Cherished grandmother to  Kathleen(Stephen) Burke-Scheerer, Daniel Burke and Laurel Griesbaum. Great grandmother to Colin Scheerer. Virginia is survived by her brother Donald Loll and preceded in death by her sisters: Catherine, Verena and Florence and brothers: Edward and William.  

Virginia grew up in the small town of Lucinda, PA and moved to Pittsburgh upon high school graduation. During her time in Pittsburgh, she worked for the Department of Navy during WWII. She met her husband, Charles, while working as a secretary in East Liberty. They were married May 1, 1954, and moved to Shaler Township where they raised their 2 children.

Upon her husband's death in 1994, she moved to Bethel Park to be closer to her children.

Virginia enjoyed working crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading, board games, and camping at Deer Valley YMCA Family Camp.

Family and friends will be received Friday from 5-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, 10 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Germaine Church, 7003 Baptist Rd., Bethel Park. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to Deer Valley YMCA Family Camp Conservancy, 254 Deer Valley Drive, Fort Hill, PA 15540
