Virginia G. “Jinny” (Gault) Walker

Age 97; of Upper St. Clair; passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023; beloved wife of 73 years to John Walker; loving mother of Rebecca(Sandy) Plotner, Kenneth Walker, Robert “Luke”(Amy) Walker and the late John “Jack”(surviving his wife Roxanne) Walker; adored grandmother of Lindsay(Joe) Senge, Aly, Ben and Luke Walker, Leslie(John) Ford, Chris(Becca) Walker, Jeff(Courtney) Plotner and Brian Plotner; cherished great grandmother of Max, Brooklyn and Bodie Senge, Lily and Phinny Ford, Tela Walker, Judson, Barnes and Tucker Plotner; sister of the late Jack Gault and Betty(Al) McKnight.  Jinny was an active member at Westminster Presbyterian Church since 1963 where she taught preschool for many years.  She was a member of the Upper St. Clair Womans Club, she was an avid walker enjoying walks with the Silver Sneakers and walking the South Hills Village.  Her kindness and loveable spirit will be missed by all he knew her.  A memorial service will be held 10 AM on Saturday, September 9th at Westminster Presbyterian Church.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in her memory to Westminster Early Childhood Education Programs, 2040 Washington Rd. Pgh., PA 15241 checks made payable to WECEP.
