William James (Jim) Dembowski, age 72, of Bethel Park, left this world peacefully on July 5th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Jim had a lifelong passion for music and was an avid guitar player. He had a deep love of nature, the ocean, and animals. Jim was known for his excellent sense of humor, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his generosity. Throughout his life he loved nothing more than spending time with his friends, family, and beloved pets.
Jim was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife Joanne Valentine; his children Elizabeth (Kevin) McElhone, Justin (Lisa) Dembowski, and Suzanne (David) Valentine; grandchildren Helena, Maura, Owen, and Emelia; sisters Frances Seethaler, Pam (Greg) Keuhnle; brothers Joseph (Theresa) Pronic and Ryan (Pamela) McNeal; nieces Sherry Seethaler and Amanda L. (Justin) Karapandi.
Those wishing to honor Jim’s memory are encouraged to donate to South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM), an organization whose mission was close to Jim’s heart.
