Surrounded by family in his final days who were ever thankful for his faithfulness to the Lord, his patience and gentleness in all situations, and his great and humble wisdom and talents, Wilbert, 91, longtime resident of Bethel Park, entered his heavenly home on January 6. He was the devoted husband of Alma for nearly 68 years, best-possible father of Norma and Robert Vogel (Lynn), and precious PapPap to Andrew Vogel (Cassandra) and Jennifer Vogel. He was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Linda Vogel, parents Carrie (Funaiock) and Raymond Vogel, and much-loved siblings Velma Ochiuto/Villani, Raymond, Evelyn Sapsara, Elizabeth Baggiani, Nancy Lori, and Robert. He is also survived by several sister- and brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Will was a master Tool & Die Maker (shop supervisor) and a jack-of-all-trades having learned enough plumbing, electrical, and carpentry from his uncles to do most of his own home projects, and he was an avid gardener. Family and Friends will be received Friday, January 21 from 2-6 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 22, 11 AM at Ruthfred Lutheran Church, Bethel Park. Memorial donations may be made to Ruthfred Lutheran Church Music or Pastor’s Fund, 3401 S Park Rd., Bethel Park, PA 15102.
