William "Bill" Dimmock Obituary

William James “Bill” Dimmock of Bethel Park passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Clearwater, Florida. He was 96.

Bill was born on September 23, 1927 in North Braddock to the late Milo Charles and Hazel Mae (Ashton) Dimmock. He grew up during the Great Depression, attended Dormont High School, and was a veteran of the United States Army Air Force.

After his time in the service, he started a family with Lois Nalitz, worked as a repossessor, and became a founding partner of Adjustment Service, Inc. He also owned and maintained several investment properties in which he took great pride.

Bill was an avid gun collector and marksman, and a highly-skilled amateur machinist/gunsmith. He enjoyed international travel, and also relished simple pleasures like a good book, a nice meal, and time with family and friends. His favorite place was his winter home in Clearwater, where he enjoyed the nice weather and community for the last 22 years.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Patricia , two sons Daniel (wife Lorraine Gallick) and William (wife Pauline), three grandchildren Jarred, Emily, and Hannah, members of his extended family, and friends old and new.

Preceding him in death were his second wife Judith Ann (Ingoldsby) Dimmock, his daughter Mary Beth, his granddaughter Rachel, and his three siblings Chuck, Jack and Maryann.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11:00am at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, Bethel Park, followed by a celebration of his life at the Jugo-Slav Club at noon.
