My deepest regrets at the passing of Laureen's life too soon; that I was not able to say goodbye. Laureen and I attended a small group bible study together for several years and I will never forget her strong arms around me as our group prayed over me during a crisis in my life. She was a true disciple of Christ and embodied His care and love for her friends and no doubt her family.

I am comforted to know she is in the presence of her Creator and King, and that we will be praising our Lord together again one day.

I pray that her family and those closest to Laureen will experience a peace which surpasses all understanding during this grief season. I am sorry for the loss of your mother earlier this year. May the Lord grant you strength to persevere in your faith as Laureen always did.

Loyal, beautiful, kind, loving, hysterically funny, sarcastic, comedic, friend , truthful, true to herself and the Lord. My dear friend I will miss our texts. Sharing our lives then and as we grow older. This is not a goodbye. Until we meet again. My sincerest condolences to your sister & brother who loved you unconditionally and were there for you.

Laureen was our friend. She was kind, loving, intelligent, talented and a true joy. We love her. The world is a little bit lesser without her, but heaven is a little bit better. She will always be in our hearts.

Linda and Dave,
As I look at this picture, I see the eyes of my best friend. Although our lives led us down different paths as adults, your family will always be my family in my heart. Memories of many sleepovers, vacations, dinners, and sharing our hearts have been going through my mind. She shared "Office" stories with my girls, and became their friend too, if only on Facebook. As she stood by me at my wedding with joy, my heart is filled with joy to know she's no longer suffering, and that she's in the arms of mom, dad, and Jesus. We will all be together again.
Love,
Sharon and family

A PEDESTAL ARRANGEMENT was sent on June 29, 2016

To Laureen from WVU Choir 1978-1982,Goldsmith years "My life goes on in endless song above earth's lamentation. I hear the real, though far-off hymn that hails a new creation. Through all the tumult and the strife I hear it's music ringing. It sounds an echo in my soul. How can I keep from singing"

I am sorry about your loss. Death is always difficult to deal with, no matter the circumstances. Even though I did not know Laureen, I try my best to encourage the bereaved with a comforting thought from God's word the bible.
Notice these encouraging words from the bible book of Luke 23:43. It reads in part, "Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise.” This was Jesus' promise to someone dying. He gave him the hope of living again. He extends the same promise to all who have died and are in God's memory. This is a sure hope that we can all have confidence in.
I hope this brief thought from God's word the bible provides some comfort. More information can be found at www.jw.org.

Although I never met Laureen's family, we extend heartfelt sympathy to all. I had the pleasure of meeting Laureen through Allegheny Center Alliance Single adult ministry. She was a dear woman. Great memories of a vacation to Outer Banks.

We so much enjoyed Laurie and Linda at our Brown family gathering 2014. Laurie could light up a room just by her presence. She was always concerned about others and did help many people with her encouraging words. We all have been enriched knowing Laurie. May our Lord take her in His loving arms and take her pain and suffering from her.

Dear Linda and Dave,

What joy Laurie must be experiencing now that she is in Heaven with our Lord, to whom she is so devoted. My heart is broken for you both, though; I can’t imagine the loss of a sibling. Linda and Dave, you two have been through so much with the loss of your beloved mother this year, and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know how I can be of service to you during this painful time.

Please know that each of member of our family, Marty, Jim, Julia, Rob, Diana, Russ, Casey, and Joseph, our grandparents Helen and Frank, Uncle Gerry and family, and others, are thinking of you and yours.

Miss Laurie loved us like we were her own, and we loved her in return. Laurie’s contribution to our family is immeasurable. I will never forget her convivial demeanor, exquisite singing voice, and angelic patience with us. We would not be the people we are today without Laurie’s incredibly positive influence. It has been such a pleasure reconnecting with Laurie as an adult, and I take comfort in my belief that we will be united in the Kingdom of Heaven when the Lord calls me home as well.

With deepest condolences, respect, and love,

Julia Mirek

Linda and Dave we were so very sorry to hear about Laurie. It is so hard to believe. We had no idea she was so ill. She was so kind to Alyssa always commenting on her facebook posts. Always had something nice to say to her. I have a plaque that was in my mother's room that says, "Take time for Kindness" and that it what Laurie did. She is now happy with your mom and dad in Heaven and free of pain. You were so good to her. You and Dave take care. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Laurie and I had not had much contact except occasional Facebook chats but I thought of her often. I have wonderful memories of our shared love of music and kitties. You have my deepest sympathy. Laurie will be missed by all of us.
