Of Venetia, age 48; suddenly on Thursday, April 09, 2015; beloved husband of Lisa A.; loving  father of Robert G. Gillen, Jr. and Katelyn R. Gillen; son of Thomas and Dorothy Gillen; son in law of William and Margaret Thornton; brother of Thomas(Michelle) Gillen, Linda M. Gillen and James Gillen; brother in law of William J. Thornton, Jr.; also survived by nieces and nephews. Bob was a kind soul and had a smile for everyone.  He worked as a lineman for Verizon.  Family and friends will be received Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday 9:30 AM at St. Benedict The Abbot Church, Peters Twp.(Everyone please meet at church)   Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
