Just found out today and wanted to pass my condolences to Shane's family. Shane and I lost touch years ago after we both got out of the U.S. Army. He was a kick ass medical professional and a great friend. We'd often go to shows in Mountain View or San Francisco or just hang out at the barracks and talk about how our lives would go post Army. I am so glad that he was blessed with a wonderful family, to whom I wish only the best.
