Florence Haskins

Florence Bella Haskins, 93, of Bethel Park, PA passed away at the home of her daughter Sandra Teter on Friday, June 26, 2015 at approximately 11AM in Jamestown, PA.

A private memorial service will be held at Paul Henney Memorial Funeral Home, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park, PA on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11AM.

Florence was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Harry and Millicent Bakey on December 5, 1921. In her free time she loved to spend time outside gardening and crocheting beautiful gifts for friends and family.

Florence was a strong woman, widowed three times to James Edward Stinson, William “Bill” James McGuire and Edward J. Haskins.  She had 4 children and helped raise 3 stepchildren. She is preceeded in death by her husbands, a daughter Patricia Lynn McGuire and 10 siblings.

Florence is survived by 3 children, Sandra L. Teter, James (Elaine) Edward Stinson, and Michael (Sue) Harry McGuire, and 1 stepdaughter Cathy (Ken) Speer, 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend special recognition to Forsenic Dialysis of Pennsylvania, Whitecliff Nursing Home, Heartland Hospice and all who attended to Florence at Greenville Hospital.
