Of Lake Latonka, Mercer, PA; formerly of Mt. Lebanon; on Monday, June 27, 2016; loving daughter of the late Paul and Clare(Troesch) O’Brien; beloved sister of Linda O’Brien and David O’Brien;  niece of  Martha Kucharczak, Patricia O’Brien Troesch, Sister Carol Troesch, O.S.F.; also survived by numerous cousins and friends.   Laurie loved music and she shared her beautiful singing with family and friends at church and special events. She also enjoyed traveling, gardening and she loved her cats.  She enjoyed living with her sister at their house in Mercer where she drew the plans for her own suite.  Family and friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a prayer service will be held Thursday at 7:30 PM.  In her memory donations can be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, Western PA Chapter, 5001 Baum Blvd. Pgh., PA 15213, wpawv@ccfa.org.
